Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Love360 mobile application and related services ("Love360", the "App", or the "Service"). By accessing or using Love360, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Important: Love360 includes location-sharing and safety-related features. The Service is intended for consensual use only. You must not use Love360 to secretly track, monitor, harass, stalk, or otherwise violate another person's privacy or legal rights.

1. The Love360 Service

Love360 is designed to help users stay connected with family members, partners, and other trusted contacts. Depending on the version of the App, device permissions, and features available to you, Love360 may provide account, connection, location-sharing, notification, and safety-related functionality.

Features may change, be improved, suspended, or discontinued from time to time. Some functionality may depend on your device, operating system, network connection, location permissions, background processing settings, or third-party services.

2. Eligibility

You may use Love360 only if you are legally permitted to do so in your jurisdiction and meet any applicable minimum-age requirements. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms on your own, use of the Service must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity occurring through your account. You agree to provide accurate information when required and to take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access.

Love360 may support third-party authentication services such as Google Sign-In. Your use of a third-party authentication provider may also be subject to that provider's applicable terms and policies.

4. Location Sharing and Consent

Location information is sensitive personal information. You should enable location sharing only with people you trust and only when all applicable permissions and consents have been obtained.

You agree that you will not use Love360 to:

track or monitor another person without appropriate knowledge or consent;
stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or harm another person;
circumvent device permissions, privacy controls, or security measures;
collect or use another person's location information for unlawful purposes; or
violate any applicable privacy, surveillance, data protection, or other law.

You can manage location permissions through your iOS or Android device settings. Disabling or restricting location access may cause some Love360 features to stop working or become less accurate.

5. Location Accuracy and Safety

Love360 does not guarantee that location information will always be available, current, complete, or accurate. Location information may be delayed or inaccurate because of GPS conditions, device settings, battery restrictions, network connectivity, operating-system behavior, third-party services, or other circumstances outside our control.

Love360 is not an emergency service. Do not rely on the App as a substitute for emergency services, law enforcement, medical assistance, or other professional safety services. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Among other things, you may not:

use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Service;
reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
use automated methods to access or collect information from the Service in a manner not authorized by us; or
use Love360 in a way that infringes another person's rights.

7. Privacy

Your use of Love360 is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

Love360 may rely on or link to third-party services, platforms, app stores, mapping services, authentication providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics services, or other technology. We do not control all aspects of third-party services, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

9. App Store Terms

If you download Love360 through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the App may also be subject to the applicable app store's terms and policies. Where required, those platform terms apply in addition to these Terms.

10. Paid Features and Subscriptions

If Love360 offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, the price and applicable billing terms will be shown before purchase. Purchases made through an app store are generally billed and managed by that platform and may be subject to its cancellation and refund policies.

11. Intellectual Property

Love360 and its software, design, branding, graphics, text, and other content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted to you under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the App for its intended purposes.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Love360 at any time. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, address violations of these Terms, comply with legal requirements, or respond to security or abuse concerns.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Love360 is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, continuous location updates, or that the Service will meet every user's particular requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

15. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

16. Governing Requirements

These Terms are subject to applicable laws and mandatory consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of protections that cannot be waived under the laws applicable to you.
