This Privacy Policy explains how Love360 ("Love360", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Love360 mobile application and related services. Love360 is a live location and safety application available on iOS and Android.

Important: Location sharing is sensitive. Love360 is intended for consensual use among people who choose to connect. Users should only share or access another person's location with appropriate knowledge and consent.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, we may process the following categories of information:

Account information: information used to create or authenticate an account, such as your name, email address, account identifier, and profile information.
Google Sign-In information: if you choose to sign in with Google, we may receive basic account information authorized by you, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture, depending on the scopes requested and granted.
Location information: precise or approximate location information when you enable location-related features and grant the relevant device permissions. Depending on the feature and permissions you select, location processing may occur while the app is in use or in the background.
Connection information: information necessary to connect you with family members, a partner, or other trusted contacts within Love360.
Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, identifiers, diagnostics, crash information, and similar technical data used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Communications and support information: information you provide when contacting us for assistance.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

create, authenticate, and maintain your Love360 account;
provide location-sharing, connection, and safety-related features that you choose to use;
display information to trusted contacts according to the connections and permissions you establish;
operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the app;
respond to support requests and communicate important service information;
prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful activity; and
comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Google User Data

If you use Google Sign-In, Love360 accesses only the Google user data authorized through the OAuth consent process and requested by the app. For basic Google Sign-In, this may include your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile information.

We use Google user data to authenticate you, associate your sign-in with your Love360 account, and provide account-related functionality. We do not use Google user data for purposes materially different from those disclosed in this Privacy Policy and the OAuth consent flow.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, where applicable.

4. Location Data

Love360 may require location permissions to provide location-based functionality. We process location information only when the relevant functionality is enabled and subject to the permissions available on your device. You can change location permissions at any time through your device settings. Restricting location permissions may prevent some Love360 features from working correctly.

When you intentionally connect with trusted contacts and use location-sharing features, location information may be made available to those contacts as necessary to provide the feature.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or disclose information in the following circumstances:

With people you choose: information, including location information where applicable, may be shared with trusted contacts you connect with through the app.
Service providers: we may use vendors that process information on our behalf to provide infrastructure, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, communications, security, or other operational services.
Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or protect the security of Love360 and its users.
Business changes: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it is processed.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by using any account-deletion functionality available in the app or by contacting us at the email address below. Certain information may be retained where required or permitted by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Your Choices and Controls

You can control many forms of data processing through Love360 and your device settings. This includes permissions for location and other device capabilities. You may also choose not to use Google Sign-In where another sign-in method is offered.

9. Children's Privacy

Love360 should be used only by people who meet the minimum age requirements applicable in their jurisdiction and any requirements stated in the applicable app store or our service terms. If we learn that personal information has been collected in violation of applicable children's privacy laws, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

10. International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country in which you live. Where required, we take appropriate measures for international transfers of personal information in accordance with applicable law.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Love360, our data practices, or applicable requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are published and provide additional notice when required by law.
