1. Acceptance of Terms
Before downloading, installing, or using PDFConverter (the “App”), please read these terms carefully. By continuing, you acknowledge you have read and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you may not be able to use some or all features of the App.
2. Services
- Conversion between PDF and common document formats (subject to actual version).
- PDF merge/split, compression, and basic editing (if applicable).
- Local saving and sharing/export.
3. License and Restrictions
- License: Non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license for personal, lawful, non-commercial use.
- Prohibited Conduct: No illegal, infringing, fraudulent, malicious, or harmful activities; no reverse engineering or source code access attempts; no bypassing security or abusing interfaces.
- Content Responsibility: You are responsible for the legality and suitability of documents you process. We make no warranties regarding third-party content or outputs.
4. Privacy and Data
For data collection and processing, please refer to our Privacy Policy. You understand and agree that anonymized usage and diagnostic data may be used for statistical analysis and product improvement.
5. Fees and Subscriptions
The current version does not include paid subscriptions or in-app purchases (subject to App Store listings).
6. Intellectual Property
The App and its documentation, design, interface, and code are protected by intellectual property rights owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use for commercial purposes without authorization.
7. Disclaimer
- The App is provided “as is” without express or implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, stability, error-free operation, or uninterrupted service.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party content/services, network failures, device issues, or system compatibility.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from your use or inability to use the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; such limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes and Termination
- We may update these terms due to business or legal requirements, with notices in-app or on the website. Your continued use signifies acceptance.
- If you violate these terms, we may immediately terminate your license and restrict or terminate services.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to your residence or mandatory laws. If not specified, the laws of the People’s Republic of China apply. Disputes shall be resolved through friendly negotiation first; failing that, submit to a competent court in the developer’s location.
